Awesome REAL music.

This is an awesome album and the song "Death To All But Metal" says it all in perfect truth. Awesome riffs, great lyrics, amazing vocals, and just an awesome LIVE band. I cannot wait for more awesome music from this take no prisoners Metal band.

Great metal album with hilarious lyrics. Hopefully, the album is successful and the band moves from comedic to more-serious lyrics. The lead singer (Starr) has a great voice and the lead guitarist (Satchel) is spectacularly talented, excellent solos. The drummer and the bassist are solid as well. Some of their cover songs are better in various aspects than the originals but are not on this album (again the lead singer is very, very good, great voice). Starr could give D.L. Roth and Vince Neil a run for their $$.
Where metal should have gone

This CD is the real deal. It rocks, it's makes fun of it's self. It is so funny, but most of all the songs are all really really good. Most likely your girlfriend or your wife will never get into this band and if they do, you have a keeper.

From what I see the band was going for a sound and a look for where metal should have gone in the late 80's and early 90's. At that time, bands started getting a little lame and the lyrics a bit tame. If this truly would have come out in say 1991 Nirvana and most of those other crap bands would have never saw the light of day. Fames of metal back then saw Bruce leave Iron Maiden, Vince leave Motley, Def Leppard was done when Steve Clark died and bands like Trixter and Firehouse just couldn't carry the torch. Had a band like Steel Panther arrived on the scene with an anthem like Death to All But Metal and in your face songs like Asian Hooker, it may have been a different story. Steel Panther is truly the next level. it's not too late, This record is for people who enjoy great 80's style hard rock and metal and have a sense of humor. No, the songs are not musically orignial, but that is not what they were going for.

Take it to the next level, buy this disc!
On the LP version

Just a note on the LP edition. The cover art is even more preposterous and over the top on this scale. It really cries out for a poster, but sadly does not have one. The vinyl in my copy is a lurid lilac colour.
The track 'Hell's on Fire' is a bonus cut on the CD edition (remember those from the '80s?), so the LP only contains eleven tracks, finishing with 'Girl from Oklahoma.' There is a voucher to download the full album on 320kpbs mp3 files (which is nice) but again, the bonus track is absent.
That said, it's a great album. Hilariously funny, catchy tunes, great musicianship, gloriously filthy lyrics.

This album kills me,and is not for virgin ears. Do not take what your hearing seriously. It is a comedy album and meant to be. That being said it is a scream with such songs as "Asian Hooker","Girl From Oklahoma" and "Community Property" being the three funniest on the album. They stole every sound that was popular in the Eighties. Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Whitesnake you can hear in the songs. They take Sleaze Rock to a whole new level of debauchery. No one under eighteen should own this album, though you have heard worse language from your parents. For some good unclean fun this is the one for you.
