surprising to see the "german only" single here on amazon - and cheaper than i-tunes (as usual!). Only "problem" with this release is that the track list isn't very exciting .....regular version we have on the album , tom stephan track was actually a free give away from the pet shop boys website a while ago - and it is kinda long and dull, and a version of "fugitive" was on "fundamental".
still , for a couple of bucks of course I bought it!!!! Tide me over till their "christmas" E.P. is out on december 14th.... |

This is a nice release despite the lack of any completely new tracks. I must say I didn't realize at first that track three is a demo. I thought it was simply an alternate / new version of "Beautiful People." It sounds so polished and fully produced.
It strikes me as odd that this third single from YES is an exclusive for Germany. Why not release it in the rest of the world as well? Or, if not "Beautiful People," why not the anthemic "All Over The World"? I'm pretty sure I heard Neil Tennant say in an interview that "All Over The World" was planned as a single. I was hoping to see that happen. I think that track would have done very well on the charts. |

Although this release would have been a great and done well in any country...German EMI requested that it only be released in Germany. This would indicate that there will not be a UK, or US release of this single.
The information about which tracks are actually on this import are incorrect due to time constraints.
The Vinny Vero mix was axed from the line up and the track listing is as follows:
