Award Winning Canadian Singer/Songwriter Carol Lynn Friesen is keeping busy leaving her mark on the music industry with the release of her third album titled, “You Make Me Smile”. This exciting 10-song album was recorded at the White House Recording Company and MuzikHaus with Executive Producer Craig Learmont and mastered at Metalworks. It has a very warm sound and showcases Carol Lynn singing with a New Country Pop style. This album includes 5 original songs that she wrote and co-wrote including the title track, “You Make Me Smile”. In addition, she recorded a number of other songs written by the likes of Patricia Conroy, Michelle Wright, Noah Gordon, Dean McTaggart, Amanda Stott and other Nashville writers. She is currently receiving radio airplay on Country Stations across Canada and the United States. The combination of the lyrics and musical hooks in these songs would definitely add up to being part of memorable music videos with Carol Lynn’s vibrant personality and beautiful voice. Her first two albums were very successful with original Inspirational Pop songs. She received a National nomination from the Canadian Gospel People’s Choice Awards as “New Emerging Gospel Artist” for her 2nd album, “Heartprints of Love” and showcased at the 2003 Vibe Awards. In 1999 she released her debut CD, “Time and Eternity” and for the first time received National recognition with three nominations by the CGMA (Canadian Gospel Music Association). This was followed by seven nominations at the 1999 A.R.I.A (Alberta Recording Industry Association) Awards where she showcased and won “Gospel Artist of the Year”. She was just recently nominated for "Country/Bluegrass SONG of the Year" at the 2006 Covenant Awards [Gospel Music Awards Canada] for an original song she wrote called, "YOU MAKE ME SMILE" ! At a press conference for the 2007 SHAI Awards today, it was announced that Carol Lynn has been nominated in the top 5 in Canada for "Country ALBUM of the Year" for her album, "You Make Me Smile"

To move to a National level as a singer with radio airplay on Country stations across Canada to help with expanding her fan base when touring.
