Cedric Willems is a belgian guitarist born in Ghent - Belgium.
He had his first guitar at ten and formed his first band at 13 with some schoolfriends.
After playing in several bands (Graffitti, Electric Rendez- Vous, Sundance ... ) and jamming with a lot of belgian musicians ( ..Luc Baetslé, Jan Boddaert, Wim De Vos, Gerd Keppens and Guido van Milleghem (The Bet), Kris Thoeye, Joris Peeters, Peter Bauwens, John Snauwaert,Vincent Goeminne, Stijn Tondeleir.. ) he now focuses more on composing and recording.
Although there is still a lot of jamming and improvising.... still the basic of his music.

This resulted in the full cd "Aspects", released in december 2007.
The CD Aspects gives a kind of synthese of his musical peregrinations over the past years.
It's a kind of registration of the musical aspects of his guitar playing. This is why the cd is called Aspects...of course ....
All tracks are arranged in the same way ... acoustic and electric guitar lines, riffs and hooks over wide spread ambient string pads, all kind of sounds and synths, with a lot of percussion and interacting acoustic and electric guitars dueling at the left and the right ....
All instruments, compositions, arrangements, mixing is done by Cedric Willems.
At the moment Cedric Willems is working on some new CDs and projects who will be finished at the end of 2008.
