SInger / Songwriter / ProducerbrbrCity's career started at an early age. He wrote his first brsong to impress a girl, hoping that she would like it brenough to become his girlfriend! Even though she was brimpressed, winning her affections would never happened. brbrAlthough he was hurt, he found that writing about hisbrfeelings help him get over his misfortune, and made forbrsome great song writing material.brbrThen in Jr. High school, City joined up with a couple of brfriends and started a group hoping that they could become brfamous and sell millions of records, but no one in the groupbrreally took it very seriously.....except, for City!
But it would brtake him a few more years, before anything would ever happen brfor him.brbrFinally, When visiting relatives in Philadelphia, City was brinvited too see a cousin who was a bass player in a band,brperform at a popular nightclub. After the show he met thebrgroups manager, and told him that he was a performer as brwell as a song writer. The Manager invited him to audition for brhim at his office the next day, and was stunned by City's vocal andbrwriting talent offering him a management deal on the spot! And brwanted him to go on tour with his cousin band.brbrThis was the break he had been waiting for, or so he thought! brLittle did he know, that his time on the road would spend asbra stage hand rather than an entertainer. After 2 months of workingbrstage lights, setting up equipment, sound checks and playingbrchauffer...City had had enough! He told his manager too either brlet him perform, or he was going too walk....So he walked!brbrThe next day his manager told him that he had just signed a new bract that was the brother of a famous family recording group thatbrhad left them to go it alone as a soloist, his name was: "VictorbrTavares" brother of the famed group, Tavares and City was aboutbr to become his opening act.brbrSince then, City, has not only toured as Victor Tavares' opening act.brBut he has written and produced for Artists like: Bobby Cook, brTony Sessions,Kevin Scott and MImi. brbrThird place winner of the Budweiser Showdown. Appear on brDance T.V. show: Dancin' on air! Produced by Mike Nise. Performedbrat Phila. Radio stations HOT 97 fm's summer concert in the park, brand as worked with such names as Kenny Gamble, Nick Martinellibrand Bruce Hawes.brbrIn 2000, City launch his own record label: "Foxfire Entertainment", br(now; 1.1.7 THE MUSIC) and released his first cd:"Respect Yourself". brIn Aug. 2004, City will released his new cd: "City / Brown Paper Bag" brand has every intention of making his voice be heard loud and clear!

Too say that music is my life, would be an understatement. When a person eats sleeps, and body craves recognition as an artist like an addict, who needs a fix to get through daily life...i'd have too say: the description would fit me too a T! My missoin for my life has an always be, my struggle for success. And even though it seems many times, that this may never come to be...i focus on the prize.brAnd that prizr for me is just the satisfation of knowing that if only 1 person gets too hear my music, and enjoy it.......my struggle for stardom is ot in vain! - City
