After watching the music business for several monts Cliff Dawe and Anna Perreault have decided to release 5 new singles to radio that do not contain Little Big Band as back up on them!
A couple of them are duets with just Cliff and Anna accompanying themselves and a couple more will be from the Nashville Out Takes Cliff spoke of in his biography!
These are really interesting and unusual in that, the Record company at the time would not give Cliff the master takes, only the work he did on some out takes so an engineer and disc-jockey at supercountryradio.com Paul McCain in Oxford, Alabama got together with Cliff and Cliff took the parts of the songs from work tapes A that were good put them on MP3 format and the parts of the songs that were good on work tape's B that were good - put them in MP3 format & sent the parts to Paul ! ( there is actually more details to this procedure, but I'll explain it in this way so it is understandable! ) Paul McCain who is a great engineer - took the parts spliced them together and I think they've generated a pretty good master, under the situation that they were faced with for Cliff's songs! The actual master tape was shelved at the Record Company awaiting release someday, when an executive thought the time would be right for release! That never happened , the Record Company claims they lost the master!
The song is called, "Ever Been Lonely?" Not to be confused with Have You Ever Been Lonely which is altogether a different song and "Summer Wages," We will send you a copy of all the singles to be released !
