Album Summary
On Superfiction, Cold combines vivid, vibrant storytelling with elegantly heavy hard rock. It's a combination that the band has perfected since they burst onto the scene in 2003 with Year of the Spider, which went to #3 on The Billboard 200 chart and spurred the hit "Stupid Girl." Cold preserve the alluring darkness that made them a rock mainstay, while honing their approach into an intricate, introspective, and inspirational style.
Limited Edition also contains a bonus DVD approximately one half hour in duration that contains the video for "Stupid Girl" as well as footage from the recording of the album and the making of the video.
Japanese edition of the post-alternative metal band's sophomore album & 2000 release. 15 tracks including, 'End of the World', 'Just Got Wicked' & 2 Japanese bonus tracks 'Ghost in Here' (demo version) & 'Bizarre' (demo version). Standard jewel case. 2001 release.
"For Cold, music is..." Scooter pauses. "It's real. It's medicine. It's therapy. And I think anybody, no matter what age you are, can be affected by it." A Different Kind of Pain was recorded at Bearsville Studios in upsate New York and produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette. The slow, driving chorus on songs like "Ocean," and "A Different Kind of Pain" belies the strife within the lyrics; and Baskette has handled it deftly.

"Stupid Girl" is a song by American alternative metal band Cold and the lead single from their third major label album, Year of the Spider. It was the second song released for the album overall; "Gone Away" was released on the WWE Tough Enough 2 soundtrack while recognized as a Year of the Spider track a year prior to its release. "Stupid Girl" made its radio debut on March 18, 2003 and was the only Cold single to crack the Billboard Hot 100. The song, as well as its music video, were heavily played on MTV2 and Fuse TV throughout the several months following its release.
The single was also included on the 2003 heavy metal compilation, MTV2 Headbangers Ball.
Cold Specks is 24-year-old Canadian artist Al Spx. Listen to I Predict A Graceful Expulsion, the debut album from Cold Specks, and you re transported to the Deep South, to the Ozarks and Appalachians, to the stirring songs of chain gangs, and to Harlem at the very point where blues met soul. Describing her sound as Doom Soul, Cold Specks music is the sound of struggle and strife brought up to date, packing all the power and potency of a voice that seems to stop time.

Album Summary
Since their modest beginnings as four guys who drove around southern California with their gear in their cars, packing whatever they could steal a space, Cold War Kids have always exhibited two qualities in their music, intense passion and emotional truth. Lithe and percussive, roaring and tuneful, the soul-punk on the Long Beach quartet's first two albums Robbers & Cowards and Loyalty To Loyalty emerged like miniature goth novels. Singer Nathan Willett channeled taut dramas of men on the edge, families in peril, and crises of faith. The musical literature of these four tight-knit friends-Willett, Jonnie Russell, Matt Maust and Matt Aveiro was a sound that augured something bigger, something more universal.
