Charybdis Band Members Selected |

The demo submission process for the Charybdis - Back To Square One project has concluded and band members have been selected to record the tracks for the album. Album recording will commence a week from today on January 14.
In addition, a few people will be assisting with mixing and producing in order to provide a variety of overall sound styles that will fit the periods better. These are the people who have been selected to take part in this recording and production process, in the order of selection:
Sean Ellis: He will record the electric guitar parts and assist in mixing and production of certain individual songs.
Dan Brown: Dan will be playing acoustic and electric guitars on tracks where each is needed, as well as assisting with mixing and production of certain tracks and assisting in any other capacity he is needed.
Andrei Kiisler: He will contribute his lead vocal talents to certain tracks.
Jim Cooper: Jim will lay down the bass tracks on all of the songs where a bass part is needed.
Geoff Coldiron: In addition to managing the overall mixing and production, he will be performing vocals on some tracks and playing keyboards and drums on all tracks.
Also, Aleksandar Stojković will contribute guest vocals to Some Of Them, a song he has co-written for this project and David Jay, a radio disc jockey from Santa Barbara, CA will lend his voice acting and radio presentation skills to one of our interview segments that will feature a member of the band calling in to a rock station radio show at the beginning of the band's career who will engage in light, general discussion about music, life, etc.
Ian MacDonald, who wishes to learn the art of music recording and production, will be assisting with production duties as well.
Shortly, most of the demo tracks that have been submitted, in all of their raw glory, will be made available on Artistopia for all to listen to and enjoy. This will be to provide the listening public with a reference point that will show how the project is evolving and growing.
