Today Coldiron Fusion released a new video from the Charybdis concept album Back To Square One. The video features the song Someday I'll Take The Time, a Syd Barrett tribute penned by Tanner Morrell.
In addition to writing the music and lyrics to this touching tribute, he also made the video to showcase the acoustic guitar and vocal demo performed by Geoff Coldiron in the style of the Pink Floyd hit Wish You Were Here, also a tribute to Syd Barrett written by Roger Waters in 1975.
This song has gotten a huge response in the Pink Floyd community, as well as many enthusiastic reviews. It is a fitting tribute to a man who millions of people still consider to be a musical pioneer, a genius whose passing in 2006 will be mourned for years to come.
This song and video is dedicated to all who love Syd Barrett's music and cherish his memory. It is one of the many ways in which that diamond still shines on!
So please join us on the Charybdis Music channel on YouTube for the release of this, the third Charybdis video.
