I've been singing since about preschool (which is pretty long ago!), I sang in various ensembles for about 2 decades; I started songwriting at age 12-13 and around the same time developed an interest in synthesizers, samplers, guitar, and recording; I play a teeny bit of piano but, sadly, no guitar. For those who go to Harold Washington College in Chicago, I also play piano in the Jazz Pop Ensemble. On this page are some instrumentals I composed on ACID Music Studio; it's some clever and powerful software for just $69.99. Enjoy.

Music Influences
Primarily I am influenced by James Brown, the Beatles, Prince, Curtis Mayfield, and Nina Simone; on the electronic tip I have to thank Kraftwerk, the late Roger Troutman and Zapp, Groove Armada, Depeche Mode, and Inner City, among others.
