Craig Northey is a Canadian musician and one of the founding members of the band Odds.
After the breakup of Odds in 1999, Northey has embarked on several other ventures, including working with Colin James, Rosanne Cash, Glen Phillips, Bruce McCulloch and many others. He also released a solo CD entitled Giddy Up in addition to producing a CD with Jesse Valenzuela as Northey Valenzuela, and ''Stripper's Union Local 518'' with Stripper's Union. He co-wrote the theme for Corner Gas with Valenzuela.
Currently Northey is part of the The New Odds, along with Murray Atkinson, Doug Elliott and Pat Steward.

"Write It in Lightning" was written for The Who, who bought the rights to record the song; however, the song remains unreleased by The Who. It was released by The New Odds on their 2008 album Cheerleader.
