Artist Biography

Cyclephante is a young surprise coming from Merano, northern Italy, carrying a rough and border sound, binding sweet and refined melodies to syncopated rhythms. The music of the four guys is Rock in the body, Funky in the soul, but the garment is indecipherable.
After three years spent between dusty concerts and more or less cheep music contests, swimming in the crowded pond of the italian alternative rock bands, Cyclephante finally writes down its own musical identity, out of the lines and the clichè of a rock scene which is now tired, self-referring and boring.

peach in love, written and produced by Cyclephante, is a summary of three years of artistic production, a musical journey that’s has to be lived all at once. It leads from the chaotic noise of the metropolitan life, of who’s escaping from the country to find new chances, to the joyful peace of the own mother land, in the nature of the Alp valleys. Ten songs with impressionistic lyrics, ten pages of a diary, which every time reveals new details and unexpected sensations.
As shown by the entire graphic work (pictures by the photographer Christian Martinelli, Merano - Italy) peach in love moves in a world of imperfect symmetries, of union between man, nature and artefact, and of naïve looks at a past out of time.
