This CD is a reissue of their second (and final) album, originally released on the Warner Bros. record label in 1992. When released, the album peaked as high as #22 on the Billboard 200 chart, and spawned a number of charting singles, including the title track and "Where You Goin' Now," "Silence Is Broken" and "Mister Please."

The Yanks are a "supergroup" made up of Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw (Styx), Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and drummer Micheal Cartellone. Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades went on to record a disc together titled Shaw Blades, with Micheal Cartellone performing as a guest drummer. Shaw and Blades aslo teamed up to write many songs for other famous artists including Aerosmith. Ted Nugent successfully resurrected his solo career releasing several new CDs as well as headlining and co-headlining several tours. Damn Yankees collection boasts of Extended Versions, but it really just means that all of the tracks are live. Of the 11 songs, eight are Damn Yankees tunes and the other three are attributed to the trio's previous incarnations as members of Styx, Night Ranger, and Ted Nugent proper.
