Dauce (pronounced like dose) is truly on the edge with his urban brand of gospel. Sometimes presenting a story-like situation within the music to enlighten listeners to a real life encounters. Thumping hip hop beats with a funk-like aura is the driving force behind the powerful lyrics being sung in his up-tempo songs. And, a more calm, soothing, jazzy feel in the worship songs he delivers.
To date, Dauce has produced over 1400 complete songs. He ministers in Word and music at Macedonia Int’l Worship Center in Lansing, MI. He has written or collaborated on several hundred songs. He teaches music theory and piano (keyboards) in his personal recording studio. He has several clients willing to travel hundreds of miles to have their music and lives touched by his ministry. Dauce has performed from California to New York in his secular music days, and throughout the Midwest with gospel groups, etc. which created a tremendous following.
Dauce comes from a long line of more traditional gospel singers. In this era, he, by the grace and favor of God, will change the face of this genre. His music is “Not, per se for the Believer, but for the loved and lost. But believers will enjoy it as well!”
