Who is Dave Matel? Quite simply, a one man powerhouse! Writing, arranging, producing, and performing all the songs on his Debut solo album “Long Night” , This is Dave at his best, and definitely a must hear for all music lovers.

At age 5 he started his training at the Cleveland Institute of Music studying classical music.

“ I can remember being very young sitting by my parents stereo listening to the Beatles and knowing the words to all the songs on the album.” “ The music moved me so much, even as a young child I knew I wanted to create music, and hope it touched people as much as this music touched me.”

Dave's first gig was when he was 7 playing in his fathers wedding band. At age 9 he recieved a full scholarship from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and wrote his first song at age 11. " I've always been amazed with people and how we deal with situations in life, and how similar we all really are." Dave started on the road at 18 playing various clubs and special engagements until ending up in Las Vegas in 1993. He played the casino circut for a number of yeras all the time changing with waht was wanted. " It went from Country to Oldies, Oldies to 80's, and then to R&B. You learn to appreciate such a vast amount of styles, and it really helps with creating your own music."
