Sweet As a Nut "Cool clear Ringo drums in an engaging intro. Immediately catchy and sweet melody and I do like those vocals. I'm digging the bass work. Well put together, like the change of direction 3.5 minutes in. One of my favourite garageband songs in a long time..." - memphis_louie from Stornoway, Isle Of Lewis, United Kingdom on 1Dec2006
Great Build, Nice Mood "I like the build of the arrangement, and the parts have a subtlety that keeps you interested...This song to me is all about mood. I'd easily see this [and I mean this as a compliment] in an episode of Scrubs, or Smallville or the like. I guess that says something about the sound, as well -- pensive, emotional, in this post-emo music that's quite popular now. I think the track is also strongly engineered, and the mix sells the movement of the piece as the layers are added through the ending of the song. You're a little harder edged than some of the British acts I'd associate your sound with [Travis, Coldplay] and more like the contemporary American counterparts, but I've never been very good at saying who someone sounds like. Well done." - BuzzkillAllStar from Jersey City, New Jersey on 29Nov2006
Original ideas... "Very engaging intro.. I like it right off. Nice melody. Drums and bass are solid and provide plenty of punch. Confident vocals on chorus. Keep expecting to hear a flaw on high notes but they never come..." - BeccanGrace from Austin, Texas on 29Nov2006
Boyzone meets Bonjovi "Starts with a nice mellotron-esque keyboard riff. It's got a slightly boyband vibe to it, hinting at coldplay in places. Lovely and smooth...then suddenly a second part comes in, like a different song. Interesting." - andypop2 from United Kingdom on 29Nov2006
