I am Dawn and this is my project. Welcome!
The words had a simple meaning at first. Drive stood for my drive to my producer's house to meet her for the first time and collaborate on music which turned out to be an amazing experience! As I think about it a little more, Drive stands for the drive inside of me that never stops. Unit stands for the unit created the units formed by people in all walks of life, the units formed in order to maintain compartmentalization and specialization in areas of expertise, and, finally, the nuclear family unit. Last, Sound is the noise not only from instruments and voices, but the subtle hum inside of us that pushes us beyond our limits.
