Earworm is the collected musical adventures of Mr Rat Himself Westlake, currently
based in a plant infested room in Gothenburg, Sweden. A monkey let loose in a box
of wind-up toys, Earworm offers cheeky grooves, English underground street rap and laid-back journeys, dirty in the corners yet tinted with a certain sweetness.
The music grew out of the psychedelic madness of the late 80s -early 90s underground festival scene, and flourished amongst breaks and grooves coupled with inspirations from many travels to far-flung regions.
Earworm enjoys smiling and drinking tea.
Artist Mission
Producing grooves, breaks and cheeky tunes to create a feelgood atmosphere. The music is evocative and colourful.
