I was recently offered 1 of 5 free spots on a womens songs compilation album titled VioletFemmes, which is due to be released this fall. The Cd includes many cool perks, but the one I like the best is the 2008 Summer VioletFemmes Festival in Vancouver, BC Canada. The festival will showcase all the women who are selected to be on Volume 1.
