UK 17 track edition of this compilation highlighting the hugely successful '70s and '80s period of the band. The tracks have a different running order than the U.S. version and the song 'Over My Head' has been replaced by 'Seven Wonders' and 'Oh Diane' for this import pressing. Includes songs such as the Stevie Nicks classics "Rhiannon", "Dreams", and "Gypsy", as well as a number of standout tracks by pianist Christine McVie, including "You Make Lovin' Fun" and "Say You Love Me". Additionally, guitarist and songwriter Lindsey Buckingham, who, like Nicks, enjoyed a solo career in addition to putting in time with Fleetwood Mac, is also represented here with excellent songs, including "Go Your Own Way" and "Tusk". This is an excellent primer for anyone unfamiliar with one of the most successful pop bands of a generation. WEA.

Album Summary
The roots of the pop juggernaut Mac became lay here! You'll still hear lots of the Peter Green bluesy stuff, too; their first hit Oh Well joins Rattlesnake Shake; Coming Your Way , and the rest of this 1969 turning point.
Three decades after Rumours established itself as one of rock's most ubiquitous, overarching successes, discussing Fleetwood Mac's heady 1977 monster (18 million sold and counting) might seem pointless; one might as well deconstruct a Big Mac. But this remastered, double-disc deluxe edition succeeds by offering up a generous, compelling portrait of that overly familiar musical triumph via 18 bonus tracks that include demos, outtakes, run-throughs, and studio jams. Stripping hits like "Don't Stop," "Go Your Own Way" and "Gold Dust Woman" down to their most bare-bones form reveals the sturdy, elemental framework that tellingly lies beneath all the pop perfection. But tracks like Lindsey Buckingham's ebullient instrumental "Brushes" (the basic tracks of "Never Going Back Again") also display a musician whose focused vision is informed by accomplished playing that's anything but simple. The two brief studio jams included aren't much more than noisy, disposable fun. But other outtakes of songs that didn't make the album (Stevie Nicks's "Think About It" and "Planets of the Universe"; Buckingham's "Doesn't Anything Last") help underscore the contention of Dave DiMartino's insightful new liner notes: This was a band on the cusp of triumph literally coming apart at its emotional seams, yet one which somehow channeled that personal turmoil into nothing short of epochal musical success. --Jerry McCulley
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way - Live 77 is a unique collection of live recordings and archival material. Formed in 1967 by Mick Fleetwood, a professional drummer from age sixteen and ex-Bluesbreakers guitarist Peter Green, they soon added slide player Jeremy Spencer and bassist John McVie to form what fans called ""the greatest blues band alive"". This Disc is a very rare UK Import and contains all the hits and classics!
