Primarysources|date=September 2008Cleanup|date=July 2009 Flybanger was a Canada|Canadian Heavy metal (music)|metal band. Once known as Jar , they released 2 CDs under that name before releasing a 5 track EP titled "Outlived" as well as their major label debut "Headtrip To Nowhere" as Flybanger through Sony Music in 2001. The band has since broken up. The singles released from "Headtrip To Nowhere" were "Cavalry" , "Radical" And "Blind World" . "Blind World" was also featured on the soundtrack for the major motion picture Dracula 2000 alongside other major acts like Powerman 5000 , Disturbed (band)|Disturbed , Pantera , Slayer & System Of A Down .
In 2005, band members Rob Wade (Drums) and Garth Allen (Vocals) joined Kill Rhythm , a band started by Rob Thiessen formerly of Noise Therapy. As of August 2010, Jar is now back to work and are gearing up for their first reunion show in late October. The band is keeping fans in the look via their Facebook fan page @ http://www.facebook.com/pages/JAR/385980532616 and have, as well, announced the setlist for the upcoming show.
