Eclectic soulful music. Emotional, but up-beat, this London-based fronted by singer/producer Sam Swift-Glasman. Originally a studio project with session drummer Alex Melia, the Explosion is now forming a live act in order to tour for its coming release: The Folk and Bass EP. They are involved, but not yet signed to Inconspicuous Artists in NW London. Artist Mission
The Folk and Bass Explosion's main goal is to create poular music. this isn't to say that the band want to make anything that'll sell. We want to explore what is really avaiable to both the creator and consumer. Our artistic influences are all well established pop acts but, all who have an originality. Pop music is a beautiful thing and the manufactured crap that is destroying the industry at the moment is ruining the name. Pop is the Beatles, not the latest boyband. labels should be looking for original bands. that's where we come in. We are going to change the world.
