Francis Dunnery's fourth studio solo album was originally released on the New York based Razor & Tie label in 1998 and demonstrates his seemingly endless ability to come up with great tunes.
His immense songwriting versatility is in evidence and this was his most diverse album to date, from the fast and raucous Sunflowers to the jazzy Steely Dan-like Riding On The Back with the Tower Of Power horns to the ethereal acoustic guitar ballad Jonah.
Elsewhere there is the funked-up Crazy Little Heart Of Mine and the use of mellotron gives a retro prog-touch to My Own Reality.
Francis was by this time playing most of the instruments himself guitar, bass and keyboards, but he is also aided by Doug Petty on keyboards and accordion and vocalist Erin Moran. Although Francis didn't tour in the UK for another two years after this album was released, he still playS to sold-out venues.

Album Summary
Francis describes this album as, "a collection of songs that I wrote during a turbulent period of my life. They describe the lonely transition that we all must make from the final chapters of youth into full psychological adulthood. After fulfilling the accomplishments of my youth I am now able to present to the world Francis Dunnery, MAN".
The album One Night In Sauchiehall Street was recorded on this acoustic tour and captured the essence of Francis Dunnery. Shortly after this album was recorded Francis was invited to join Robert Plant's band and record the album Fate Of Nations. Once out of the Plant band Francis returned to his solo career and recorded further albums and formed his own record company Aquarian Nation. Since then Francis has recorded for Lauren Hill on her multi platinum album The Mis-education of Lauren Hill and Carlos Santana on his million selling Supernatural album. Francis also continued performing solo concerts across the world?Oh yes and he has also re formed It Bites. The live acoustic album One Night Live In Sauchiehall Street contains songs such as Homegrown, Yellow Christian and the It Bites song Too Young To Remember.
