Artist Biography

Future Disorder is a heavy metal band from Renton, Washington. It all started in June of 1997, when four metal heads in high school decided that if they wanted to listen to the music that they all desired, they would have to make it themselves. And thus the band Dredge was formed. Dredge began with the blood curdling vocals of Jason Hewitt, the chilling leads and guitar riffs of Robert Osgood, Derek White on bass, and the thundering drums from Chris Nichols. Not bothering with “garage” covers, they jumped right in to writing their own original music, for this was the reason of forming the band in the first place.

After a few years of shows and improvements, The band decided to bring a new perspective to their music. The band overhauled themselves by having Derek play rhythm guitar, Sean Robertson was added at bass, and Jared Wrigley came into the band doing melodic vocals. With this new set up Grievance was born. Unfortunately, ideas and direction soon clashed amongst members, and after two short years Grievance was no more. The four remaining members, Jason, Derek, Jared, and Chris, went through a down period of a couple of years getting personal lives and careers together. But the powerful lust for making music was too strong. This prompted a new line-up; Jared on rhythm guitar and vocals, Jason on bass guitar and vocals, Derek on lead guitar and back-up vocals, and Chris on drums. A new line-up also meant a new name that would represent the style and ideas of their music, Future Disorder. In January of 2006 Sean decided to join back with FD playing bass guitar and locking down the line-up that will take the world by storm.
