This is Green Sunshine. Three Emcees and a DJ, spawned from the early masters of hip-hop, have joined forces with a trumpet player, classically trained by the masters of higher education, a soul singer from the streets of Harlem, and a rhythm section that continuously redefines the limits and possibilities of the guitar, bass, and drums. Bringing together the individual strengths and talents of 9 members, we have formed a tight-knit family devoted to making a career out of our passions for music, grown from the seeds of hard work and dedication and financed through successful CD, performance, and internet sales. We are using our talent and creativity, as well as social and business skills, to present something new and engaging to people who respond with enthusiasm and a yearning for more. We play shows that people will remember and talk about, and produce albums of the highest quality that will catch the eye, incite the mind, and ignite the fire within. Accumulating a varied fan base of all ages, we also seek inspire them through music to make a difference in the community, getting them involved with the band both off-stage as well as on.
