Artist Biography

Handsfreemethod is the new sound of acoustic rock. Formed by lead signer/guitarist Jonathan Ware in 2003, the band has slowly but surely become one of the hidden treasures of the indie rock sub-culture. The band started as an acoustic side project and has evolved into what it is now: A rock band with an acoustic backdrop that plays lyrically deep music about the victories and defeats that all young people go through in life.

Originally formed in Boca Raton, FL, handsfreemethod played over 300 shows in it's first 2 year, gaining a small but loyal fan base. The band also played numerous benefit shows for organizations like Relay For Life, The Rhumetoid Arthritus Foundation, Rock For Life, and more. The band also played FREE shows for local colleges and church youth groups. handsfreemethod recieved national exposure when footage from a benefit concert featuring the band aired on MTV2. The band also recieved attention from local newspapers and local news. Now based in Cheyenne, WY, the band hopes to break new ground with their new album, which will begin production in Novemeber of 2007. Throughout their short music career, handsfreemethod has played with numerous local and national acts, such as Detour 180, Sons Of Day, The BIG Screen, Fallen From The Sky, Copasetic, Where Is Monday, Paper Rings, and more. With over 3,500 fans on myspace and over 7,000 plays since June 2007, it looks like there is only more success in store for the band.
