On Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 2:00-3:30pm Jim and Martha Hessions' American Jazz Septet will present "Zat You Santa Claus?" in the theater of the New Orleans Jazz Historical National Park. By special request of the JNHP the Hessions return this year with an all star lineup of the best jazz musicians in New Orleans. The music this year will celebrate the Christmas in New Orleans theme with lighthearted fun and music. The musicians featured include: Jim Hession-piano Martha Hession-vocals Ryan Burrage-all reeds( be prepared for this) Mark Braud- trumpet Rick Trolsen-Trombone Mark Brooks-Bass Bryan Besse-Drums
The exciting nature of this presentation is guaranteed to lift the spirits and energize those who may be experiencing Pre-Christmas Fatique. A musical shot in the arm to put a "HoHo Ho" into your "WhereY'at".
