He recorded for a number of labels over the years, including this album recorded especially for Pickwick. Including such songs as Chanson D'Amour', 'And The Angels Sing' and 'Song Of India', each receives the full orchestral treatment. Hallmark.

The second volume of Hugo Montenegro's own unique interpretations of classic film songs, this album covers the years 1938 to 1944 and captures many of the greats from that era, including Over The Rainbow from The Wizard Of Oz, I Remember You from The Fleet's In and The Last Time I Saw Paris from Lady Be Good. Of course, Hugo would find later fame for his own film scores, but this is a useful insight into how quickly he adapted to the genre. Hallmark.
