After many years of working, thinking, rehearsing, performing, composing and persisting I-MIND was born. It was the brainchild of Eduardo J. Osorio who was originally from Mérida in Venezuela but now resides in The Hague in Holland. The highly anticipated, eclectic, melodic and classic debut album " Area 51 " from I-MIND ( a.k.a Eduardo J. Osorio ) is to be released via Matchbox Recordings http://www.matchboxrecordings.co.uk/artists/imind.htm on the 25 Aug 2008. It features 10 brand new tracks in English. br /br /brbrHISTORYbrbr Eduardo was always obsessed and driven by music and was paid at an early to perform at family parties. He began playing the bass with friends when he was a teenager and at the age of 19 played bass for and fronted the incredible band ‘UNA GOTA NEGRA’. The band went on to play sell out shows including the ‘Colegio San Luis Festival’ in Mérida city and built a large fan-base. He also played in the hot bands "ELVIRUS" and "NOMADAS" again playing large concerts including the “Centro Cultural Febres Cordero” music festival. brAfter emigrating to Holland Eduardo formed the magnificent I-MIND and released his debut single "Tomorrow” with Matchbox Recordings www.matchboxrecordings.co.uk "Big Indie Comeback Vol 1" compilation album. He received airplay worldwide including "Radio Freak-out” in New York, www.matchboxradio24.com and “Radio Ison" in Australia” where he is still being played weekly. brbrThe album will be sold in some shops in the U.K. and through many big website distributors like for instance Cdbaby, Amazon, etc, the album will be sent to around 40 FM radio stations in the U.K. and also to some internet radio stations (actually the songs ‘Solitary’ and ‘Kamasutra Plan’ are already being played at www.matchboxradio24.com 24 hours a day.br
