History
Illogic began in the Columbus, Ohio hip hop scene when at the young age of 16 he claimed the 1996 Columbus Hip Hop Expo MC battle, surrounded by what would come to be the core of the emerging "bustown" sound. He released the first album Unforeseen Shadows on Weightless Recordings in 1998. It was produced entirely by Blueprint (rapper)|Blueprint . Years later, Illogic has shared the stage with Rakim , Casual , Psalm One , Atmosphere , Eyedea , Brother Ali , The Roots , Common (artist)|Common , One Be Lo , Royce Da 5'9' and many other nationally recognized acts.
