Artist Biography

Ask the band what Incentive Red means, and they will probably tell you that it is the color of an ink used in printing shops. Incentive Red actually has deep rooted meanings that could leave the imagination in constant corkscrew. Lake Havasu City, Arizona is a small resort community smack in the middle of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Phoenix, giving the city with tons of influences. Known as a party town, the city of Lake Havasu, does not have much of a music scene. Incentive Red began with three individuals. Johnnie and James came from a local Havasu metal band and Justin came from an alternative rock band from Havasu. The three spent the summer of 2004 writing material And exploring musical processes.

The idea to bring in a DJ was brought up and easily established. J.R. brought his equipment to the rehearsal studio to bring an innovative sound to what was being played and what was to come. Ramon was living up in Boise, Idaho. The guys called Ramon and told him what was going on. Ramon played bass for Justin before and was well known by Johnnie and James. Johnnie has played with Ramon on a numerous occasions as well. Putting Ramon and J.R. in the band put the wheels in motion.

Incentive Red had decided to record an 8 track EP as a demo with a quality studio and professional packaging. The production value and song quality of the CD are fantastic, a real pleasure to listen to. Incentive Red had made the CD sound huge with a small budget. Everyone in the studio and the band were stoked with the final mix of the CD.
