Artist Biography

I have been playing writing and performing for just over 5 years and have achieved some sucess in a number of areas. My first major opportunity came in 2002 where i finished 2nd in a competition, 'Young Musician Of The Year'. This is where i discovered my passion for performing as since then i have played all over the country. My previous gigs as a solo artist include outdoor festival, V.I.P. lounges, weddings, hundreds of pubs and 1 hen night which i wont go into!! I also have experience of playing with a band and first started in Cohesion, which was a good experience and included gigs at Live 8, Barfly circuit, Mean Fiddler, Global Battle of the Bands and support slots with signed bands such as Alabama 3 and Kubb. However external influences on the band forced relationships to fray and i personally felt that the original 'cohesion' of the band became lost. However i have been in other bands and duo's and have recently represented York in a musical regional show case and came 3RD in Turn of the year event. I have also just started a course at the British Academy Of Music in London.
