Jason's live show incorporates elements of techno, electro pop, and rock, and is best described as a mixture of Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and modern Peter Gabriel. These elements can be heard in Jason's epic song 'First Man on Mars'. It is an "eclectic mix of piano, synthesizer, electric guitars, drums, and a megaphone. Thanks to Jason's keen musical ear, he avoids the telescope altogether, packs you up on his spaceship of sound and transports you to Mr. Big Red Planet himself. By the time you're half way through the song, you're ready to kiss Mrs. Earth goodbye and start learning the ways of a Martian. That's how good Farnham's songs are; they make you want to go alien!
brbrWith his complex intricate music patterns it's easy to overlook Jason's true gift: songwriting." -Deron Wade, Ijamr.com magazine (7/07). The band plays to a sequence including techno loops and sound effects, resulting in a hard-hitting and danceable live performance. Both his techno pop and instrumental piano music have been used as a soundtrack for ballet productions, independent films, and professional magic productions. His debut electro pop album, ‘Barriers’, which was produced in Toronto, Canada, is quickly gaining national attention. Track 3 ‘First Man on Mars’ is the official theme song for the 4Frontiers Corporation’s Mars exploration campaign. It is also the musical track for the 30-second animated Mars flyby video, which can be seen on the official 4Frontiers website: www.4frontierscorp.com. Track 4 ‘Spin’ was featured on the Montel Williams Multiple Sclerosis Music Fest 2006 Compilation CD for the Pop/Rock/Alternative genre. brbrTHE BAND:brJason Farnham- vox / synths / programmingbrYosho Doi- electric guitarbrMelinda Miller- synthsbrMario Lackner- drumsbrbrKEYBOARD/SYNTH CREDITS:brNoelia (Spanish pop/rock) myspace.com/noeliamusicbrIgnacio Val (Spanish rock) myspace.com/ignaciovalbrTerri Nunn and Berlin www.berlinpage.combrHB3brMooney StarrbrKennabrBill Farkas brSteve LedesmabrJim BrickmanbrbrTV CREDITS:brPianist in an episode of "Queen Bees", Endemol Productions, to air in Fall 2008 on NickelodeonbrbrJASON FARNHAM: 'BARRIERS'brMusic Connection Magazine, L.A.
