I am a singer-songwriter, wife and mother... and the more I follow Christ, the more I see how much I need my Savior's finished work on the cross. I rejoice that I have been given the gift of salvation and faith. A work-in-progress, like my works-in-process, I invite you to come to the cross and find new life. For so many years I had enjoyed music in many ways: avid listening, piano teaching, choral singing... now I am blessed in this new means of expression.
I hope as others hear these songs they will be drawn to Christ's love and mercy and into a new or deeper relationship with Him.brbrbr brThis album-in-process, "40 Years In The Wilderness," is the result of heeding God's voice when He so many times said to me, "Sing... a new song..." God ministered to me as I wrote these songs, the melodies and words flowed easily, and they chronicle much of my life to this point, figuratively and/or literally. A parched and lonely daughter, I knew basically who my Father was, but for one reason or another, I wandered in the wilderness (and for far too long.) Abba continues to gently and firmly lead me out and into a beautiful and glorious place. Now, to stay planted in this new place-- being found in Him, abiding and drinking from the well that never runs dry-- and to be fruit-bearing is a prayer you might lovingly offer up for me. Thankfully, it continues to be “…God who is at work in [me,]"... (Philippians 2:13)
Artist Mission
God has clearly told me so many times to sing a new song. So that I am doing. He says to go and tell and build up the body of believers... I trust the Lord will continue to lead me; pray that I am obedient to follow, and hope in Jesus since He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Music Influences
Keith Green, Bethany Dillon, Marty Goetz, Whitney Houston, Cece Winans, the great hymns of the faith, choral & classical music and many secular artists
