Transition Kadri was born on June 02, 1980 in Barbados, West Indies. As a multi-talented rocker he is, Kadri has proven from time to time, that there are no limits, to one's destiny. At the age of 16, Kadri wrote what then became a popular soca hit "Bus Ride," for the popular Double Xplojun band, which earned him his first title as a songwriter. Recording Mix tapes became his next move, as Kadri and a few other friends in Barbados, rocked the mic with reggae versions, they called themselves the Monsta Vybes Crew. Later Kadri took the slot as one of the two lead vocalist with a popular nightclub band in Barbados, Full Force. Even though this rocker distanced himself from the scene for a few years, Kadri never stopped his writing, he even began music production which then became his core. Kadri wore many career hats such as, Information Technology Teacher, Embalmer, Medical Records Clerk, and also as a Police Constable. Kadri's versatility is wider than one can imagine, from hip-hop to reggae, from soca to merengue, but Alternative Rock is where Kadri's heart and soul made nest. Kadri's versatility was known by many, as he voiced and co-wrote Barbados' 98.1 The One FM radio "Turn it up," and "Turn up de radio" commercials. Many experiences throughout his life, various abuses including drug abuse and a broken home, gives Kadri his everyday inspirations, to write and produce some of the best musical pieces to ones ear. Kadri is currently working on his first album, scheduled for release 2010.
