| Ozomotli concert/IU student union boardmajor attractions committee | 10/2/2002
|
This was an event that was sponsored by the Indiana University student union board major attractions committee. I was a member of the committee and was assigned to work at the Ozomotli concert. I was very inspired on how there were so many band members and each of them served an important function in the band. They struck me as a hispanic earth, wind, & fire.

The leader of the program asked me to compose and perform an opening song for all of our programs. I wrote a rap song entitled, "Stay Free" and performed this song live in front of about 5 different elementary schools. I also played the lead role on a skit entitled "Turn Around" which went along with the actual song.
