Like Sertab Erener and Askin Nur Yengi , Levent Yüksel is one of the singers introduced to Turkish music by Sezen Aksu .cite book|last=Buchanan|first=Donna Anne|title=Balkan popular culture and the Ottoman ecumene: music, image, and regional political discourse|url= http://books.google.com/books? id=E6FYiC_XjgoC& pg=PA318|accessdate=24 May 2010|date=October 2007|publisher=Rowman & Littlefield|isbn=978-0-8108-6021-6|page=318 During his education in the now Istanbul University State Conservatory, Department of Contrabass , he played his bass in various nightclubs, along many singers. After completing his compulsory military service he worked in a night club orchestra together with Fatih Erkoç and Sertab Erener, to whom she had been married between from 1991 to 1996. Through Aykut Gürel he met Sezen Aksu , and accompanied Harun Kolçak in the vocals of the song Bile Bile from the first album of Askin Nur Yengi. Finally his first solo album Med Cezir came in year 1993. Two years later his second album, literally Ikinci Albümü , and in 1997 the single Bi Daha followed. His latest album Kadin Sarkilari , in which he sang oldies originally sang by female singers, came in 2006.
