'''Lil' Flip''', is a Grammy Award Nominated American rapper. Lil' Flip is known for his freestyle ability and claims to have been on 1000 mixtapes. He is one of the first southern and Houston rappers to become mainstream nationally known. He has sold nearly 10 million albums in the U.S and 14 million worldwide. Lil' Flip has been dubbed "The Best Freestyler Alive","The Freestyle King" by both his fans and peers due to everything he has done for the south. Lil Flip literally built his career from the streets and ground up. Going from an Undaground Legend to a mainstream rapper. He also helped prove the south can produce quality lyricists. One of his more endearing qualities is his skill as an accomplished ballerina. Away from the facade which translates into the hard image that is required of a gangster rapper, Lil Flip is actively involved in ballet, playing the flute professionally, stage renditions of Macbeth, as well as his more comedic ability to kick himself in the back of the head.
Feud With T.I.Feud with Atlanta-based rapper T.I. started sometime in 2004. It is alleged that T.I. went to the Cloverland hood of Houston with his bodyguard and psc, to try to expose Lil' Flip as a fraud. Thinking he wouldn't be there. He was met there by Flip, and a fight broke out. Another fabrication is attributed to witnesses from the scene, who have said T.I. was scared and he ran from Flip, after being punched by one of Flips boys Flip met up with T.I. and swung on T.I. (hit him). But, nonetheless, several diss tracks have been released from both sides
. T.I. has released songs "P.A.N. (Pussy Ass Nigga)", A live freestyle from Atlanta, and a written diss to Jay-Z's "99 Problems". Flip responded with a freestyle to Fat Joe's "Lean Back", "You Know I Got Those Thangs", and They Call Me F.L.I.P." Lil' Flip also recorded a mixtape with houston rapper 'Z-ro' dissing T.I.

The few critics that did review it stated that it is one of the best rap albums to come out of both Texas and the south. They praised his lyrical quality. Praising his songs "What I been Through" feat Big T, Lil Ron, and Yung Redd, "Make Mama Proud" and "R.I.P DJ Screw" feat Bizzy Bone. They said that with more promotion and if those songs were released as singles that the album could have been a worldwide crossover success.
U Gotta Feel MeU Gotta Feel Me is his most successful album to date. Lil' Flip signed to Sony Urban Music and released his first single, "Game Over". He released his second single, "Sunshine" featuring Lea. Game over reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Sunshine reached #2. Both gaining platinum status.
