Lin Duffy is an experienced & versatile Performing Artist. Genres like Jazz/Blues, Easy Listening, Rock & Pop are covered with a simply breathtaking & original vocal style. A voice that can stimulate real emotion within the listener, as each lyric unfolds.
From her early childhood days, she has been influenced by great singers & bands who have etched their names within the history of music. Ballads are a favourite to sing with most songs coming from Lin's musical roots.
At present, now an experienced solo artist, Lin is also enjoying performing many great songs from the jazz, swing & show genre, including many great standards. Lin has recently signed with D & M Records in California.
Lin's debut album "Dreamaker", is now released on the D and M Record Label & album tracks are being played on the Live365 internet radio network - KDMR Radio.
Her listening & performing experience over the years has enabled Lin to develop her own unique style with every song she sings. Rock was the first musical genre experienced as a live vocalist, when in 1978 Lin formed a rock band called 'Paradox'. Her extensive repertoire also includes original compositions of which she has been creating since the early 70's. In the early eighties Lin formed another band called 'Captivated'. This band helped her to progress further with her performing & songwriting skills. By now she had noticed that her voice had become much more mature & versatile, & so she could now sing most styles from rock to commercial pop. In 1995 Lin formed a female vocal duo with Di Selby, called Voice2Voice. They established themselves singing popular covers with backing track accompaniment.
Lin's musical journey in life so far is reflected to this day within her songwriting. Musical ideas are created with the help of her keyboard player Carol A Leech, from the band 'Captivated'. They have now become songwriting partners for many years, with Carol also now acting as management to further Lin's Career.
Lin has her own recording studio called dabosstudio, where she is continuing to record her own songs & covers. Performing live Lin enjoys tremendously but she particulary loves the creation of demo recordings in a studio.
The debut album "Dreamaker" is currently released & being distributed worldwide for digital downloads on Amazon, itunes, eMusic, Rhapsody, and many more in the coming months. Its physical form is also available now, & is currently being distributed.

Lin's ambition is to be successful in all of her musical endeavours & expand her popularity worldwide, with radio airplay, gigs, album signings & many more promotional ideas in the making. Lin has a talent to be able to make each song she sings, fresh and unique, with a sound that is truly her own.
She hopes that listeners will experience the passion that she portrays within each classic song that she sings, & that her fan base will expand to world wide status.
