The King of the Wild Guitar rips through a five-decade career-spanning 25 cuts of extreme distortion. Not for the faint hearted.
This CD replaces the extremely popular Ace UK title "The Original Rumble", which is now deleted. This is the finest all-instrumental Link CD available.
No vocal filler, just the guitar sound that launched a thousand riffs, and all remastered. It's quite brilliant.

Album Summary
1997 album for Ace by the legendary rock guitarist featuredon the 'Pulp Fiction' soundtrack. Features 12 tracks, nineoriginals and covers of CCR's 'Run Through The Jungle',Elvis Presley's 'Heartbreak Hotel' & Hank Williams' 'I Can'tHelp It (If I'm Still In Love With You)'.
Bruce Brand - the Milkshake's drummer and all round musician - plays everything but guitar on these 1989 recordings.
They were issued as 2 LPs at the time and with the new technology now available, they have been remixed by Rob Keyloch who engineered 1997's "Shadowman". This has brought out the full power of the Link Wray guitar and beefed up the sound considerably.
Pathway studio has always been regarded as London's answer to Sun with its distinct sound and 8 track analogue technology.
Link only made one other studio album in the 80s and these recordings are by far and away the best of that decade from him.
Authentic 'on the spot' sleeve note from Ace's Ted Carroll who executive produced the whole project.
