Luna Trick is the creative brainchild of English multi-Instrumentalist, Daniel Staniforth. Classically trained as a Cellist, Staniforth crafts an array of songs styles - ranging from alt-pop/rock to widely experimental. His hybridized guitar style renders many different sonic colours, which are further enhanced by his willingness to explore different instrumentation. Luna Trick is hard to pidgeon-hole in that it fuses many different elements, from indie rock, darkwave, electronica, space-funk, to ethereal. Two CDs have been released by Flowforth Productions in 2008: "Total Submersion" (buy and "Hoar Frost Sheen" (cdbaby.com/all/lunatrick). Earlier recordings were circulated in California under the moniker - Luna Sea - and there are plans to release reworked versions of some of that material. Staniforth also composes ambient, neo-classical, and soundtrack type pieces under his own name - and a classical album is forthcoming later in the spring.

To introduce the world to the next great 'one-man-band" in the tradition of NIN, Beck, and the early Cure albums. To enrich the indie scene with forward thinking music that combines the best elements of the last three decades with intellectual subject matter and thought-provoking lyrics. To provide alternative radio with a large collection of airplay singles that doesn't have to compromise one element for another.
