Biography
Sidewinder was a Rock and roll|rock musical band|band founded in 1991 by brothers Nick Craft (Singer)|Nick and Martin Craft (Singer)|Martin Craft in the Australian capital Canberra . They supported U2 on the Australian leg of their Popmart tour. In the same year. Sidewinder's second album Tangerine received much airplay on Australian radio, most notably on Triple J .
Post breakup
Both Nick and Martin are now signed to 679 Recordings in the UK. Martin released an EP, I Can See It All Tonight , in 2004 and an album, Silver and Fire , in 2006. Nick formed The Zillions (band)|The Zillions . Guitarist-violinist Pip Branson became a touring member of Something for Kate in 2001, and now plays with his own band, The Pip Branson Corporation. Drummer Shane Melder has been playing with David McCormack 's band.
