Masher Brothers are Ged Flood and Pete Laschok
Pete and Ged met back in the early 80’s at the end of the punk era. Drawing from various influences they formed a band and toured extensively around the south of England.
Some years later, after changes in musical direction and experimenting with various bands, they decided to concentrate on writing and composing—Ged focusing on songwriting and Pete on instrumental pieces. They figured that two heads are better than one, and teamed up again incorporating all their new and old musical influences.
Today they are composing and writing some of the most cutting edge music in the new millennium. Their versatility and imagination encompasses 60’s/70’s retro, alternative, blues, reggae, folk, pop/rock, lounge and new world music.
