Album Summary
Megadeth is easily one of the most recognized and culturally significant names in hard rock music for the past three decades, are pleased to announce the release of their thirteenth album, titled TH1RT3EN. Dave Mustaine is incredibly proud of the music put forth on the recording, saying, "This record is the culmination of my work over the 13 records I recorded. There are moments on TH1RT3EN that capture my every emotion, and other moments where I am releasing feelings I never knew existed! My proudest moments of my musical career are captured on TH1RT3EN." TH1RT3EN also marks the recorded return of bassist Dave Ellefson who was part of the band's classic lineup from 1983 to 2002. In a move that delighted the band's legion of diehards, Ellefson returned to performing live with Megadeth in early 2010 and has remained a fixture on the stage ever since. This is the first time Ellefson has played on a Megadeth record since 2002's Rude Awakening.

Album Summary
ENDGAME is the follow-up to the critcally acclaimed return to form United Abominations. The album, produced by Andy Sneap and Dave Mustaine, has been hailed as one of the band's best albums in over a decade. The album includes thrash anthems like the first single 'Head Crusher' as well as the politically charged title track.
Megadeth is one of the few metal bands to have successfully handled the transition to the '90s, and Countdown to Extinction is proof positive; although considerably more streamlined and commercially oriented than their previous efforts, it's still a fine album, and arguably one of their best. Lead singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine's lyric-writing has improved, and the results can be heard on 'Countdown to Extinction', 'Symphony of Destruction', 'Architecture of Aggression' (it's a rare songwriter who can make a line like that fit in a chorus), and 'Foreclosure of a Dream'. This is arena metal at its best; Countdown to Extinction (a reference not to genocide, as one might assume, but to endangered species) manages the difficult trick of being commercially appealing and musically sound at the same time. Includes four bonus tracks 'Crown Of Worms', 'Countdown To Extinction' (Demo), 'Symphony Of Destruction' (Demo), and 'Psychotron' (Demo).
"United Abominations" is an album that throws back to the sound and energy of classic albums. With songs like "Washington Is Next!" and "Amerikhastan" it is a commentary on today's tumultuous world and the United Nations.
Import pressing of this limited edition CD/DVD (PAL/Region 0) package is expanded to add approximately 40 minutes of video content, including a new Mega-Mix music video for "Kill The King," edited from past music videos and behind the scenes footage, seven previously unreleased live performances from the band's 1999 Risk tour, and a preview for the Arsenal Of Megadeth double DVD set.
