Inspiring Guitarists

My name is Michael Ferris and I am a classical guitarist. I have just created a website with the intention of inspiring guitarists. I started playing guitar when I was seventeen with very little musical education and went against all odds to go on studying and get my Master's degree in guitar performance at the world renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria studying under one of the world's leading guitarists Eliot Fisk. It was a hard road that I took, but in many respects, with so many more dreams in sight, I truly believe I have made all my dreams in life into reality. The website is a also a means to share my life and my music with others, to inspire them to do what I know is possible. A great deal of this story is put into detail; there are also recordings of my playing. Along with this, I have also started a blog on famous composers focusing on their lives and what they had to do to give their gift of music to humanity. http://www.ferrisguitar.com
