Michael "Mickey" Harte ( Irish Language|Irish: lang|ga|Mícheál Ó hAirt) is the current (and most successful) manager of Tyrone GAA|Tyrone Gaelic football team. He has led the team to three All-Ireland Senior Football Championship|All-Ireland titles , three Ulster Senior Football Championship|Ulster titles , one National Football League (Ireland)|National League , and four Dr. McKenna Cup s to date (as of August 2010).

Raised in Ballymacilroy outside Ballygawley, County Tyrone , Harte managed Tyrone Minors (1991–1998) and under-21s and won the All-Ireland with both these teams before he was named the Tyrone Senior Football Manager. Family


His daughter Michaela McAreavey was murdered on her honeymoon in Mauritius in January 2011.
