Artist Biography

Artists Dupe, A.Jame$, E.J, and PAT individually lend to a new style of music which fuses raw street lyrics and upbeat tempos, with a touch of down South flavor. While the Southern influence is clearly detectable, the music stands out because of its versatilty and ability to cross over different markets. M.O.E has performed @ several clubs in Baytown, Mt Belvieu, and Liberty.

Duper (AKA Lil Mike/ crazy Mike) is a rare talent whose lyrics are a true reflection of the life and experiences which he has lived; from growing up with a father who was encarcerated, being moved around from one home to another, finally settling in South Park/ Sunny Side and becoming part of the lifestyle of drugs and violence for which the area is notorious. Here Duper became known as Crazy Mike, and began a life which has seen him in and out of jail at the age of 10. Despite his setbacks, Mike has been able to channel his energies into his lyrics; creating music which is at times painful at times upbeat at times gritty, but always REAL.

Patrick who has recorded a solo album, is part one the two member group known as the D.O.C, and is featured along with his partner A.Jame$ on M.O.E's Summer 06 Mixtape. P.A.T is known for his signature bottlecaps (tied to the ends of his braids), and is a double threat because of his ability to both sing and rap. He grew up in Raywood, TX and joined M.O.E in 2005.

E.J represents Lil Aimes TX and raps with a style and flair which is very much in tune with late 90's and current H-Town music. His lyrics are remiscient of other H-Town favorites such as Lil Flip, and Paul Wall, describing diamond/ gold grills, candy paint old skool cars, and the ghetto fab/ flashy lifestyle which has become synonimous with houston rap scene. Barely out of high school, this youngster expects to take Houston by a storm and is aiming to be it's next rising star.

Artist Mission

NAS says that hip hop is dead! M.O.E belives that rap music needs to be infused with artists who have strong lyrical content and not just catchy beats. We are commited to making music that is REAL, that comes from our own individual life experiences so that our music will not all sound the same. This will also allow us to speak directly to and our listeners in the same way that it once did.
