Mostrance borns in 1997 in Buenos Aires, Argentina thanks to the meeting of a musician, a vocalist and a film maker. Of this union comes out Divina, song and videoclip that obtained a wide recognition in both local and international electronic music circuit. The videoclip, showing on MTV and selected for the Holland Animation Film Festival, between other festivals, shoots Mostrance at the audio-visual scene that was arising in that years.
From this moment, which corresponds to the dawns of the electronic music scene in Buenos Aires, a series of live presentations, song editions and others happened. The song Divina was included in the show The Real World MTV (1999). The song Bienvenidas is edited in format mp3 in the Japanese magazine 100 % Windows (Japan 1999), two tracks are edited separately in compilations, one of Fundacion Proa (2000), other of Radio Energy 101 (2001). At the same time a series of live shows with strong visuals were performed in places as Pacha, Big One, Centro Cultural General San Martín, Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Fundacion Proa, and many others. At this time two songs are included in two movie soundtracks of argentine film makers, who took part in festivals in several places of the world; music of Mostrance was included as well as in movies, also in some programs of cable TV.
Mostrance is about to release it's first album on CD on november 2007.
Artist Mission
The mission of Mostrance is to shape a deployment of rhythms, styles, languages, states, forming an entity where these elements get together through a diversity of musicians joined in the challenge of investigate and explore; and to come to a place of common sensibility within the electronic music. Mostrance focuses on the development of music for other disciplines as movies, theater, facilities of art, and installations inside the audio-visual area.
It is a main objective of Mostrance to join and enjoy music interacting with a network of related artists, being present at festivals and meetings and collaborating with other areas of the culture.
A goal of Mostrance is to get into people with its music through surprise, irony, mental opening, and the freedom of senses.
