de Shawn is a songwriter, lyricists and a semi-performer blessed with many artistic talents. He has numerous original compositions registered with the Library of Congress Copyright Office. He enjoys making music, writing poetry, and technical sales. de Shawn has been on mp3unsigned for less than 1 year and already has (5)contracts published; Jonesville Publishing, Saddlestone Publishing, Krazy Kat Records while teaming up with the artist, A.D.L.A. de Shawn is constantly writing new material and recording.He has a collection of over 20 original compositions.

de Shawn has an amazing ability to reproduce any song or riff that comes to his mind with full instrumentation. He often amazes others by creating a song from a simple melody that they share with him. de Shawn is undeniably 1 of the best unsigned music songwriters around. He writes in many different styles, ranging from country, pop, r&b and gospel. de Shawn began singing with the Del Valle Missionary Baptist Church of Del Valle, Texas. de Shawn discovered that he could come up with melodies very easily. de Shawn has done collaborations with fellow Mp3unsigned artists such as ADLA, Drainage, Flave, Black Macguiver, Bob Brannan and has future projects with DJ Redshirt Theory, Laval, Shy Hopkins, Missississippi Mud and Mark Holley.
