Biography

Negative Format is the one-man Electronic Body Music|EBM / Trance music|trance band of Alex Matheu, started in 1996. For live performances, the band includes Rashree and Brian Matson.

In 2004, Alex created The Parallel Project , an album combining his music with the vocals of other industrial music|industrial artists, including Culture Kultur|Salva Maine , Seize (band)|Sandrine Gouriou , Stromkern|Ned Kirby , Assemblage 23|Tom Shear , Rashree Matson , Haujobb|Daniel Myer , Ayria|Jennifer Parkin , System Syn|Clint Carney , Psyche (band)|Darrin Huss , God Module|Courtney Bangert , Claire Voyant (band)|Victoria Lloyd , VNV Nation|Mark Jackson , The Azoic|Kristy Venrick , and G. Wygonik.
